Online Course - Personal Symbols

One thing new I'm trying is an online fibre art course called "Personal Symbols" with Susan Sorrell from http://www.creativechick.com/ . It's great to be able to follow a series of guided challenges and see a progression and development of design and product.

The first work I produced from this course is this one.

In the third lesson we explored our own symbols in a collage style with plain colours.

Learning to Share my Creativity

I'm an incredibly creative person - who is incredibly hard on herself! I have enormous difficulty sharing my art and creative works with others. I expect criticism, dishonest compliments, or bland comments. I don't have faith in my work and don't believe others do.

To try to overcome this I enrolled in an Art and Creativity course through "The Learning Connexion", and I'm starting this blog.
